Before starting the
Huaquan generator in winter, the following points should be noted:
1. Preheating: Preheating must be carried out before starting the generator set. In winter, low temperatures and high diesel viscosity can lead to poor diesel atomization due to insufficient preheating, affecting combustion efficiency and even damaging the engine. The correct preheating method is to first cover the insulation blanket on the water tank, open the drain valve, inject clean soft water at 60-70 ℃ into the water tank, wait for the water to feel hot, then inject clean soft water at 90-100 ℃, and shake the crankshaft to pre lubricate the moving parts before starting.
2. Body insulation: Low temperatures in winter can easily cause excessive cooling of the generator set. Therefore, insulation is crucial. In northern regions, insulation sleeves and curtains should be equipped with cold proof equipment. In addition, the thermostat plays an important role in heating up the diesel generator set during operation. Before winter, the thermostat should be checked for normal operation, and any malfunctioning thermostat should be replaced in a timely manner.
3. Cold proof equipment: If the unit is placed outdoors, snow prevention measures need to be taken to prevent snow accumulation from causing malfunctions or hindering normal operation. For units used outdoors, during long-term low temperature periods (temperatures below 4 ℃), the cooling water should be drained to prevent damage to the cooling water tank radiator caused by an increase in cooling water volume.
4. Ventilation: The generator set generates heat during operation, and poor ventilation may cause overheating or carbon monoxide accumulation. Therefore, the unit should be placed in a well ventilated area, especially when the doors and windows in the computer room are tightly closed and sealed, and ventilation should be paid more attention to.
5. Fuel selection: Low temperatures in winter can cause poor fluidity and increased viscosity of diesel, making it difficult to spray and burn. Therefore, low pour point diesel fuel should be selected, and the generator set should be cooled before adding fuel to prevent fuel from splashing onto high-temperature components and causing fire hazards.
6. Battery management: Low temperature has an impact on battery performance. It is necessary to regularly check the electrolyte concentration of the battery and the connection between the electrode plates, keep the battery clean, and charge or replace it if necessary.
Through the above measures, the safety and reliability of Huaquan generators can be effectively guaranteed before starting in winter.
